The difference between tablet and laptop
Tablet computer, also known as portable computer, is a small, portable personal computer with touch screen as the basic input device. It has a touch screen that allows users to work with a corner pocket pen or digital pen instead of a traditional keyboard or mouse. Users can input through built-in handwriting recognition, soft keyboard on the screen, speech recognition or a real keyboard.
1. Form
Notebooks use non touch operation, and occasionally use touch screens. The structure is more complex than tablet computers, which can provide more interfaces and support more peripheral devices. Most tablet computers use touch operation, and some products use removable keyboards or slide out keyboards. The structure is very compact and concise.
2. Weight
The weight of a tablet computer is basically no more than 1kg, and a 10 inch tablet computer is between 600g and 900g. Notebooks are rarely less than 1 kg, and even netbooks are basically around - kg.
3. Volume
Tablet computers normally use 7-10 inch screens. The overall volume is slightly larger than that of LCD, and the thickness is no more than 15mm. The thickness of the second-generation tablet computers of first-line brands is mostly controlled within 1 cm.
The thickness of notebooks is basically about 20mm, and ultra-thin notebooks are more than 15mm. Netbooks also use 10 inch LCD screens. Ordinary notebooks have the largest number of 14 inch notebooks.
4. Input
Most commands of tablet computers are input through fingers, while microphones and gravity sensors are used to assist in special operation input. Most input of notebook is realized through keyboard, mouse and touch pad, and occasionally with the help of microphone or other peripheral devices.
5. Usage environment and functions
Tablet computers are smaller, lighter and simpler in structure. They can be used almost anywhere. They focus on entertainment and are normally used to watch web pages, videos, books and games.
Notebooks need a place to be placed before they can be used. They are all-round devices. Except for a few gravity sensing games, they can basically be carried out on notebooks.
